Minecraft Bedrock And Java Editions To Be Sold Together On PC

The Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition were the two versions of Minecraft that are available for download on PC. That is set to be changed on June 7 when both versions will be available on PCs.

It could leave you wondering what it will mean for your daily life. In essence, it's a small change. You can now buy both Minecraft versions for one price. This means that there's only one vanilla Minecraft version for Windows. You don't need to worry whether you have Java or Bedrock editions.  1so blog  has announced that all players who have either Java Edition or Bedrock Edition will receive the edition they don't currently own for free, and right from the Minecraft Launcher. However, this could take up to three working days to be available.

In the near future, Jave and Bedrock will remain distinct games with different features. There have been no changes to the features. Only one difference is that you receive both versions as standard when you buy Minecraft for Windows. Both versions are in the same launcher.

Java is available only for PC, Mac, and Linux systems. The Bedrock Edition is also available on PC, Android, iOS, Windows 10 Mobile, and a variety of consoles, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and so on. Java is the most flexible version of Minecraft on PC however it does not allow cross-platform play. The Java Edition has a higher performance threshold, and tends appear better on high-end gaming computers, while the Bedrock Edition is designed for smoother play and has shorter load times.
